Today’s Special: Blogger Surprise
It’s exciting when someone decides to take up food as a hobby, especially when that person decides that they are going to write about it and take pictures. I’ve always imagined that I would like to be a great descriptive food writer, taking photos along the way and describing everything as I go, but I usually forget all of that until my food is in the oven. I rarely even take pictures of the finished product, choosing instead to dive right in.
So when my friend Beth told me she was going to blog about her adventures with teaching herself to cook, I was very excited. Beth has a great narrative style, and I love reading her blog, even though she often writes about knitting, which I can’t say I know anything about.
The result was a really awesome post that I think a lot of beginning cooks and anyone who loves food can enjoy and identify. Now I just have to talk her into writing for AAVR. Check out the Real Baby Beth.
